Mayela and Manuel had a small wedding in their home city of Los Angeles and were honeymooning in the UK. I was so excited when they contacted me a few months ago to ask if I would capture photos of them on their honeymoon in London in early November. London is so beautiful all year round. November is very special as St. Dunstan in the East is covered in autumnal reds and golds and there is also an early sunset so we were able to meet and start the photoshoot mid-afternoon and still capture some heavenly golden sunset and dusky atmospheric light. We met at St. Dunstan in the East to start the photoshoot and Mayela and Manuel looked like they had stepped out of a fashion shoot, they looked so gorgeous and glamorous! I suggested my favourite locations for a couple photoshoot in central London – start at St. Dunstan in the East, walk over Tower Bridge and head down to the City Hall area with stunning views over the River Thames, Tower Bridge, the City of London and The Shard. It’s my favourite routes to capture some of the most iconic London landmarks and the light is absolutely spectacular as it bounces off the glass and white stone of the buildings and the River Thames. There is just so magic to capture in these locations! We had so much fun as we raced around central London for their couple photoshoot with passerby’s congratulating them! I absolutely LOVED my adventure with the beautiful Mayela and Manuel.
